Dating in the workplace

I recently started a new job and I think my manager is the hottest thing ever. I read in the handbook that managers can't date other employees because they might get special attention or something. I'm also a type of management (supervisor), and the handbook didn't say anything about managers dating managers. I just want to know if he's single. I even dream about him. It's really weird. He says "we" a lot when he talks as if he does have someone else in his life. It could be family, but I don't know. He doesn't really talk about personal things at work. Does anyone have any advice?
