It can yes. Eating too much cabbage can make you gassy or have to poop a lot. Just don't eat too much of it and you'll be fine. Eat something like meat with it so you can get filled up by some protein.

Kimchi is a pre and probiotic although not everyone’s taste it can really promote a healthy gut biome. I prefer sauerkraut as it’s easy and cheap to make yourself or purchase and has many of the same properties. By nature of the beast though it “can” make you gassy , maybe add some charcoal to your diet too 😂

I have no clue about kimchi but for sauerkraut dishes is adding few caraway seeds recommended to avoid production of too much digestions gases. I guess it works with caraway works with kimchi as well.
