Is it awkward to post a photo taken with an ex on my social media?

I accidentally found a photo, I look so good there, so feminine, so gentle and so peaceful, I haven’t seen myself look that way for long, but the photo is taken with my ex with my head on his chest while standing on a very high mountain, and he’s looking devilishly hot, masculine and confident while holding me and It’s generally a very nice photo showing nice dynamics and I look very pretty internally and externally.

I kind of got fond of that photo as I didn’t remember it and I miss myself looking that way as I look there.

And It’s not much about my ex, as I am totally over it, but It’s about the aura I like about this photo, that I want to show off.

Being single I don’t get to express that side of mine and I didn’t even remember that version of mine - ever existed.

Are you still in touch with the guy? If you are, maybe ask him if he minds if you're on decent terms with him, but if neither of you are naked there's nothing wrong with what you want to share.

I'd suggest maybe blurring his face, but I've posted old photos before with other people I'm not in touch with any more.

I have deleted him on Instagram long ago. Those photos were all over his social media back then. He still keeps our photos on FB we are on nice terms. He called me in February on Valentine’s wanting to have a video chat and asking me how I was recovering, and that he missed me and he was at our old home in front of my favorite noodles shop.

Mytake: If you have a boyfriend or plan on doing so…. I don’t think this question or the idea of posting a photo of your ex in that manner will go smoothly for ya.

It's normal but not healthy...

You cannot share the photos So, your ex may have intentionally and consensually given you the photos, and you're not breaking the law if you keep them after your relationship ends, but you could face serious ramifications if you show them to someone else, share them online or post them on a public website.

Changed my mind. I was just really impressed how nice photo that was when I saw it.

I wouldn’t want new people to see my photos of my ex and assume I am not over him. Not posting.

As long as you don’t delete the photo when you have a relationship with someone else.. if you want to have another photo like that get back to how you were and take one solo. But it’s disrespectful to a current boyfriend for having this around even tho you claim to be over your ex
