So my ex's really good friend decided to tell me he has a crush on me and has had a crush on me for the past 3 years while I was still with my ex. He has a girlfriend he's in an open relationship with. Me and this guy have known each other for a long time, so we're kind of friends by default because of my ex. We discussed the crush and I told him I didn't want anything serious with anyone at the moment, plus he has a girlfriend so I knew there was nothing going to come of it. He lives like 3 hours away and he was coming up to visit friends one weekend and wanted to get together with me. It didn't work out. After that, he stopped talking to me as much. I did talk to him after that because I was upset about something that happened with my ex. My friend told me she thought that my ex had been cheating on me. I already knew there was another girl and was upset that other people were starting to realize that. I told this guy what I knew and that I had found notes my ex had written to the new girl. Turns out, the day I talked to him about this, he was hanging out with my ex. On top of that, the next night he was texting me again trying to get with me. I talked to my ex recently, now that we can be friends again, and he told me that he had spent that weekend at his friend's place and that his friend had told him that I had contacted him and told him I knew about the other girl.
So, my question is. This guy who decided to contact me and tell me about his crush and wanted to get with me, even if that meant hurting my ex in the process, then goes and tells me ex that I was contacting him. why would he do that? We agreed we'd never tell my ex that we had communicated at all, even though nothing happened between us, we didn't want my ex to think something had. Why would he go and tell my ex that I texted him, and then he texts me the next night while my ex is at his house?
I guess he's playing some kind of game try to skip him and find someone else , don't get involve with exs friends its the best thing you do for you'r self Drama free .
Well yeah, I know he's not worth the drama so I stopped talking to him altogether and never wanted anything with him anyway, but why would he try to make me look bad on purpose? I did nothing to him. I just don't understand.... Stupid man ahhhhh! Lol - A month ago
