Why Do Guys Come Back After We Ignore Them Too?

Why a man comes back: Either he hit it and wants to hit it again, or he didn't hit it and is hoping to now. Men approach women thinking sex FIRST, anything other possibility comes up some time later. I wish women would stop trying to process a man's behavior through OUR filters. We are confusing ourselves, and operating in futility. Our brains are NOT the same, therefore our motives are not the same. So . . . while we're in love la-la land trying to interpret the meanings of all his attentions throught the fairytale we've spun to make ourselves feel good, he's focused on meeting an objective. And besides, you can't understand a man by studying the MAN, you know a man by studying his FOCUS.

When my ex and I first met, he told me his goal for the summer was to find a girlfriend--this was his focus. So, he proceeded to see if I could fit in his plan . . . but don't get it twisted, the first thing he said about me is "I sure would love to hit that!" and you know what--even though it would not have been a benefit to the relationship he was seeking to have sex so soon, he would have gladly done so! He had not choice but to get to know me because I kept my clothes on! It took me TIME to see what he was really all about, and took him TIME to see that I wasn't a good time girl!

So . . . don't ask yourself a whole bunch of questions, because as human beings, we have a tendency to come up with the answers that make us feel the most comfortable. Give it TIME and let him show who he is. And if you continue to feel bad, confused, or otherwise less than stellar dealing with this man . . .

Then hold on to your cookies and break for the north!
