Thing is, we liked each other about 1-2 months ago and he broke things off. Recently, he confessed he didn't mean any of the things he said when he broke things off, but just always gets to a point where he should ask a girl out but instead freaks and breaks things off. He also confessed he likes me and never stopped liking me. BUT he says he doesn't want to like me because he doesn't want to hurt me again. What do I do? I still like him and definitely want a relationship.
sounds like he's been hurt in the past and hurt someone else before of him ebing so sacred of commiting into relationship, talk to him about it, ask him to open up
well at least he's honest. he is probably young, not willing to committ, wants to keep you so that when his heart is broken he can come back to you, if you think he's worthy of any investment of your time, go ahead, but think about it this way, the second time, you'll hurt way more if it doesn't wok, he has to work to have you, he has to like you for real. it's great you like him, but he needs to prove to you he's worth your time/ energy/ love etc. ;*)
