Will they just let it carry on even if they aren't sure they want it? Would a guy settle with what he has after he sees its not easy to get something else while he's with the one he seems to just be there with? Or does he really care and is just lazy? Do a lot of guys do mean things to try and get HER to break up with HIM?
Yea, guys will definitely settle. That's part of why there are a lot of bad relationships out there. The other part is that girls will settle just as often.

Yes, some guys are lazy. Then again, some just are scared that there isn't a backup. Some don't think that they're worth any more than what they have. Just like with some girls thinking the same way. But, there are plenty of guys, just as there are plenty of women who DON'T play games like that.

i definitely think there are guys that are like that, lazy and just happy to keep on going out with the same person because its easy. I don't think guys do mean things to get their girlfriends to break up with them (if they did then they are dickheads and I don't know any guys like that)
thats teh one thing I learned after going out with my most recent girlfriend. the longer you let things go on, the more she falls for you and you fall for her, even though deep down inside you know you are never going to marry her or have children. and because me breaking up with her was so hard for that reason (we were so close) (my english sucks it is 7.30am lol I need sleep) ummm. yeah because of that I would never continue a relationship longer than I had to unless I knew that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
maybe it just comes with maturity I don't know. but I'm sure there are guys out there in all shapes and forms, and certainly ones that would do cruel and cold hearted things such as that.
