well if you are looking to boost your self you should start talking to guys more try to be in the circle know what every ones talking about that way you can join the conversation and gain respect for the konwledge you have
Stop comparing yourself to these fake images of beauty that the Media pumps out. Take care of your body, and know that you are beautiful and special no matter what anyone else might say.
+1 to Shlei's advice. Don't overwork it though, or you can look like the Governator. Just work it out, do things you like, and do WHATEVER you think would make you look better. Got body hair? Get it lasered! Don't like how clothes look on you? Buy new ones! It's all about looking at the mirror and liking what you see and working on what you don't.
Go to the gym. Get a tan. Get a sexy hair-do (one you like). Do something you enjoy. Interact with people. Friends, or people you don't know. Knowing that you look good will make you feel comfortable with yourself, which will make it easier to be around people. You can focus more on the conversation instead of how your hair looks, or your nails, or anything -- INteracting with people also helps. I am not sure why, but it does.
stand in front of the mirror play your power song (something about how Fing amazing you are) I like supergirl by saving jane anyways talk to your self like say damn I'm sexy I'm soooo hot pick out the parts of your body that you really like (legs) and compliment your self then take your "flaws" and look at them and say I'm beautiful, everyone has "flaws" dance, jump up and down(releases endorphins) even yell a little bit (if ur alone) do this before dates it helps boost ur confidence and gets rid of jitteries
