Why are women attracted to scumbags?

Question

I am 39 now, I never had a girlfriend, nor a relationship. I have been told that I am a "nice guy" but women for some reason hate nice guys! I have a job and a car, I take care of myself.

but all the time I see hot women, and they hang with guys who can't hold on to a job for 2 months without getting drunk or high, and then beat the crap out of these women. but for some reason I can't fathom, women prefer scum vs a genuine nice guy who is ready to please here and put her first.my question is .WHY WHY WHY? and please. Don't say "not all women are like that. remember I am 39.I have Experience that says otherwise.

All women don't like jerks.  I know you didn't want me to say that, but it's true.  I know too many women who don't take crap from guys and know their worth, for that statement to be true.  Perhaps you are attracted to a certain type, who is attracted to scumbags.  You're 39, women in your age group should be over that.  I liked bad boys when I was younger, but not the extreme ones who beat the crap out of me or disrespected me.  Those women just don't respect themselves and have low self esteem.  That's the only kind of woman who would entertain a man like that.

Girls seem to like guys that remind them of their fathers. So if a girl had a strict or mean father, then that's normal to them and that's the type of guy that they'll go for. I, personally had a really mean father but I learned from it unlike other girls, and I learned what to stay away from in relationships. I can almost guarantee that If you decide that the only girl that you can get is a girl that likes jerks, then you will get hurt in the end. Never change who you are; if your a nice guy, then stay that way. & you get a real, genuine nice girl in the end.

I too have never understood why some women were like that. I would love to have a guy that was nice and sweet and thoughtful and things like that (yes, I know, I'm young. but I'm kinda old-fashioned in that manner).

I don't know why that is so, but not all women are like that. it just takes forever to find her.

If you were wiling to date obese woman then I don't think you'd be able to go 40 years without a relatoinship. You probably have really high standards. My boyfriend right now has been rejected by 400 girls. and he's dating me 100 pounds above my ideal weight. So there you go, if you can't get what you want, lower your standards.

Because "Nice Guys" have low self confidence and are insecure. Those guys that are being described as jerks by women, are probably described as "nice guys" by other people. They beat women and cheat on them because of their low self confidence. Do you know how hard it is to find a man with CONFIDENCE? Difficult. Very difficult. You're so worried about what other women are doing and why they are with these "scumbags" when you can go out there and improve yourself and make yourself worthy to women. And I'm talking about an actual women, not stupid little girls that are desperate for the brainwashing they call "love." This is survival of the fittest, be the fit.
